With support from dedicated partners, these programs are designed to reduce financial barriers and invest in the future of imaging leadership.

Sponsored CRA Scholarships

AHRA and the AHRA Education Foundation, in partnership with Revenue Cycle Coding Strategies (RCCS) and Bracco, offer CRA scholarships to support imaging professionals pursuing the CRA credential.

These scholarships help offset the costs associated with the CRA exam, making the credential more accessible to professionals seeking to advance their expertise in imaging administration.

Through this support, Revenue Cycle Coding Strategies and Bracco demonstrate their commitment to strengthening imaging leadership by empowering professionals to build their skills and contribute to the success of their organizations.

Kathryn Keeler Memorial Scholarship

Keeler Kathryn Keeler was a beloved and valued member of the AHRA staff and the association’s longest tenured employee, joining the team in June 2001. In 2007, she became the CRA Coordinator and worked closely with the RACC. Through her dedication and passion, Kathryn played a key role in the growth of the CRA and its continued value to the radiology management profession.

Kathryn lost her battle with cancer in 2018. The Kathryn Keeler Memorial Scholarship was established in her honor to support individuals who may not otherwise be able to afford the fees associated with taking the CRA exam.

This scholarship covers CRA exam fees and application fees when applicable. It does not cover late fees, change fees, or international test administration fees.

All applicants must submit a CRA exam application along with all required documentation prior to the close of the scholarship application window. Payment of CRA exam application and exam fees is not required at the time of application. However, applicants who are not awarded a scholarship will not be registered for the CRA exam unless payment is submitted.

Blancaflor Scholarship

The Blancaflor CRA Scholarship supports members of the United States military by helping offset the costs associated with earning the CRA credential. This scholarship assists first time CRA exam candidates with expenses related to exam preparation and registration for either the May or November exam window.

Benefits

Maximum award amount: $1,000

CRA exam fee up to $500
CRA exam application fee $100
Professional Development Series textbooks up to $420
Professional Development Series ebooks up to $300
Virtual CRA Exam Prep Workshop up to $349

Proof of US military service required.
