About Rapid Review

AHRA’s Rapid Review™ program evaluates and grants ARRT Category A continuing education (CE) credit to qualified education tools. This could be a seminar, conference, lecture, or webinar. As a Recognized Continuing Approver, AHRA has been approved by the ARRT to grant Category A CE credit.

A CE activity is a learning activity that is planned, organized, and administered to enhance the professional knowledge and skills underlying professional performance that a technologist uses to provide services for patients, the public, or the medical profession. Activities submitted for review will be given an approval/denial decision within 45 days after the submission of completed application and all required documents. No submissions with incomplete documentation will be reviewed. Please note that sponsors with outstanding invoices will not be eligible to receive reviews until all open balances have been paid in full.  

Make sure the person responsible for the educational programs in your facility is aware of this program!

Becoming a New Continuing Education Sponsor

CE Sponsors are legal entities or persons authorized to do business as representatives of corporations, nonprofit organization, limited liability company, or partnership who offer continuing medical education eligible for Category A or Category A+ credit. 

If you are interested in applying to become a CE Sponsor for AHRA:

Rapid Review Committee

AHRA's Rapid Review Committee reviews continuing education requests for programs and media of technical content. AHRA Members with technical expertise and/or credentials in radiography, mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, sonography, radiation therapy, cardiovascular interventional, quality control, PACS, and electronic imaging are needed.

Prospective volunteers should have:

• Technical expertise and/or credentials (as listed above)
• Fax or email accessibility to assure 48-hour turnaround
• Time to review multiple programs and media
• Willingness to serve a 2-year term
