We are looking for volunteers to review and update content in the AHRA Professional Development Textbook series.
Review or author chapters according to your subject matter expertise.
Requirements:
Must be an AHRA member or CRA in good standing.
Cannot be involved in the development of CRA exam content.
All volunteers are required to sign a Conflict of Interest Agreement.
Volunteers Needed:
10-15 authors per title
12-16 reviewers per title
Experience Required:
No experience necessary. Prior writing experience preferred.
Anticipated Commitment:
Reviewers will be assigned content by textbook section (average 4 chapters per section). Reviewers will have 3 weeks to review their assigned content and leave suggestions, and 2 weeks to review the subsequent draft from the authors.
Authors will be assigned chapters to update based on reviewer suggestions. The first draft will be due within 3 weeks, and the second draft will be due in 2 weeks.

Content review complete - meet to review suggestions and finalize writing assignments
11/3/25
1st draft by authors due back for review
11/17/25
Review and comments back to authors
12/1/25
2nd draft due back for review - editors read through and finalize
