We all remember the first time we attended an AHRA Annual Meeting. For most, it’s a memory full of excitement, anticipation, and anxiety, especially if you are attending all by yourself. While some imaging leaders are more extroverted and outgoing, some may be less comfortable meeting new people on their own in an unfamiliar environment. Many AHRA members are quick to extend a helping hand to show new members “the ropes”, and we want everyone to feel included and at home with our AHRA family.
An AHRA Ambassador is a formal opportunity to help first-time attendees & new members to get connected. Each first-time/individual attendee/new member has the opportunity to be paired with an experienced AHRA member, or ambassador. The ambassadors will provide valuable insight and advice, ensuring the first-time attendee/new member feels welcomed and comfortable throughout the annual meeting event. Each ambassador can organize meetups, share tips, attend sessions with their new member/first time attendee; all which will create opportunities to connect with peers and establish valuable industry relationships.
Minimum Requirements:
Register for and attend the annual meeting
Availability to connect with an attendee (virtually) prior to the event
Availability to connect in person, onsite at the event
