WASHINGTON, DCAHRA: The Association for Medical Imaging Management announced its 2025–2026 Board of Directors, the AHRA Education Foundation Board of Directors, and honored distinguished members of the medical imaging management community with awards and fellow designations at the AHRA 2025 Annual Meeting held in Las Vegas last week. 

This year’s gathering marked a momentous occasion as AHRA recognized both new and continued leadership, along with individuals and organizations making meaningful advancements in medical imaging management and healthcare delivery.

AHRA Celebrates 2025 Award and Scholarship Recipients 

This year’s AHRA award recipients exemplify exceptional leadership and innovation in medical imaging management,” said AHRA President Wesley Harden, CRA, FAHRA. “We’re grateful to all who play a role in building AHRA’s vibrant and welcoming community. Your continued support helps push the boundaries of medical imaging and elevate the quality of patient care across the industry.  

The 2025 AHRA Achievement Awards recognized 35 total recipients for achievements and contributions to AHRA and the field of medical imaging. The association recognized Brenda DeBastiani, CRA, FAHRA, with the Jim Conway Gold Award, which is AHRA’s highest honor, conferred for her significant contributions to the profession of imaging and healthcare administration.  

AHRA Immediate Past President Mario Pistilli, CRA, FAHRA, recognized Marvin D. Nelson, Jr., MD, MBA, FACR, with the AHRA President’s Award for his impact on Pistilli’s career, professional development, mentorship, and friendship.

Additionally, AHRA honored two authors as selected by their peers with the Radiology Management Gary Boyd Editorial Award for their contributions to developing an outstanding feature article and column for AHRA’s peer-reviewed professional journal, Radiology Management. 

AHRA recognized five members with awards for their excellence and leadership in medical imaging and honored six members with the distinguished AHRA Fellow designation. Fifteen members received AHRA Annual Meeting Scholarships, generously supported by sponsors and the AHRA Education Foundation, to help make their participation in this year’s Annual Meeting possible. Lastly, two members were awarded CLIMB 2025 Scholarships, and three received Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) Scholarships to support their CRA journey through assistance with exam application fees and study materials.
