WASHINGTON, DCAHRA: The Association for Medical Imaging Management announced its 2026–2027 Board of Directors, the AHRA Education Foundation Board of Directors, and honored distinguished members of the medical imaging management community with awards and fellow designations at the AHRA 2026 Annual Meeting held in Orlando this month.

This year’s gathering marked a momentous occasion as AHRA recognized both new and continued leadership, along with individuals and organizations making meaningful advancements in medical imaging management and healthcare delivery.

AHRA Celebrates 2026 Award and Scholarship Recipients 

“The achievements of this year’s award honorees reflect the talent, vision, and commitment found throughout the AHRA community,” said AHRA President Cindy Winter, CRA, FAHRA. “Together, our members are driving meaningful progress and leadership in medical imaging management, and we thank everyone who contributes their time, expertise, and passion to advancing the profession and improving outcomes for patients.”

The 2026 AHRA Achievement Awards recognized 43 total recipients for achievements and contributions to AHRA and the field of medical imaging. The association recognized Enrico Perez, CRA, FAHRA, with the Jim Conway Gold Award, which is AHRA’s highest honor, conferred for his significant contributions to the profession of imaging and healthcare administration.

AHRA Immediate Past President Wesley Harden, CRA, FAHRA, recognized Tracy Harden with the AHRA President’s Award for her impact on Harden’s career and family.

Additionally, AHRA honored two authors as selected by their peers with the Gary Boyd Editorial Award for their contributions to developing an outstanding feature article and column for AHRA’s peer-reviewed content hub, LINK.

AHRA recognized five members with awards for their excellence and leadership in medical imaging, honored two members with the distinguished AHRA Fellow designation, and recognized two outstanding volunteers with the new AHRA Super Star and AHRA Rising Star awards. Fifteen members received AHRA Annual Meeting Scholarships, generously supported by sponsors and the AHRA Education Foundation, to help make their participation in this year’s Annual Meeting possible. Lastly, seven members were awarded CLIMB 2026 Scholarships, and eight received Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) Scholarships to support their CRA journey through assistance with exam application fees and study materials.
