Operational Efficiency in Healthcare – AI & Digital Solutions

This session looks beyond the hardware, exploring the impact that data and analytics driven solutions can have in healthcare and radiology. We’ll start with the discussion of key themes & challenges in radiology, and how they manifest in day-to-day practice. We’ll then cover the different levels of software solutions in the market: enterprise, department, and on device AI. This will include examples of each type of Saas, and the impact they each can have on the key themes introduced.  

THERAGNOSTICS – from tracer to treatment

• Combination of therapeutics and diagnostics
• Use of one radioactive drug to diagnose and a second radioactive drug for treatment, both target the same cancer cell receptor
• The radionuclide is often different (e.g., 68Ga for diagnostics and 177Lu for therapy in prostate cancer)
