About Rapid Review

AHRA’s Rapid Review™ program evaluates and grants ARRT Category A continuing education (CE) credit to qualified education tools. This could be a seminar, conference, lecture, or webinar. As a Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism (RCEEM), AHRA has been approved by the ARRT to grant Category A CE credit.

A CE activity is a learning activity that is planned, organized, and administered to enhance the professional knowledge and skills underlying professional performance that a technologist uses to provide services for patients, the public, or the medical profession.

Programs reviewed by AHRA are given an approval/denial decision, provided the application and all required documents are submitted correctly in the following:
 • Enduring Media (web conference, self study): Minimum 4 weeks
 • Enduring Media (textbooks, directed reading): Minimum 4 weeks
 • Live Lecture (single day): Minimum 4 weeks
 • Live Lecture: (multiple days): Minimum 4 weeks

AHRA also offers an Institutional Providers (IP) package. A healthcare IP is a hospital, clinic, medical center, or physician’s office that provides direct patient care and has applied for the exclusive participation of its employees. Once an IP has been approved it will allow them to submit an unlimited number of live CE activities for review and Category A credit approval during the assigned year.

Make sure the person responsible for the educational programs in your facility is aware of this program!
