AHRA Announces Membership Campaign to Reach 6,000
Sudbury, MA – AHRA: The Association for Medical Imaging Management is delighted to announce its ambitious membership campaign to reach 6,000 members. This campaign will focus on recruiting and retaining members to grow stronger by leveraging the collective experience and wisdom of medical imaging professionals to further AHRA’s mission to be a resource and catalyst for the development of professional leadership in medical imaging management.
“We believe building our membership will promote greater collaboration and sharing between members, increase AHRA’s potential for education and innovation, and offer new opportunities for all of us to inspire and to be inspired,” said Tom Wall, AHRA Membership Committee Chair. “New members are key to maintaining the vibrant community that makes AHRA a primary professional home for so many medical imaging leaders.”
The membership campaign will run through the end of 2018 with a halfway celebration at the Annual Meeting’s closing session on July 25, 2018, and will feature recruitment mailings and
volunteer outreach to potential members requesting their consideration, advertising in publications, and use of social media at a national level to showcase AHRA membership options and benefits, and the launch of a
membership referral program.
The launch of the
AHRA referral program includes an initiative of asking current AHRA members to share their AHRA story with their peers who would benefit from AHRA and ask them to join. Current AHRA members who recruit a new member will be eligible to earn
50 AHRA rewards points that can be used towards AHRA products and events, as well as one raffle entry per referral to win a 55 inch TV or an Annual Meeting registration of their choosing that will be awarded at the 2018 Annual Meeting.
“In addition to adding to the potential professional development success, there are immediate benefits to becoming an AHRA member through this membership referral program,” said Jillian Nanof, AHRA Member Services Supervisor and CRA Coordinator. “New AHRA members referred to us by current members will get their application fee waived (a $25 savings) and 50 AHRA rewards points that can be used towards AHRA events and products.”
AHRA offers new and seasoned medical imaging professionals a wide range of
membership options including a group membership which is designed to make AHRA’s products and services more accessible to facilities dealing with the financial challenges of today’s healthcare environment. The
group membership gives facilities the ability to provide their entire team with access to AHRA member benefits in one affordable payment.
