AHRA Members Nominated for 2017 Minnies Awards

Sudbury, MA – August 24, 2017  AHRA: The Association for Medical Imaging Management is pleased to announce that five AHRA members have been nominated in the 'Most Effective Radiology Administrator/Manager’ and one AHRA member has been nominated in the “Most Effective Radiologic Technologist Educator” categories for the 2017 Minnies awards.

The awards are sponsored by Auntminnie.com, a comprehensive community website for radiologists and related professionals in the medical imaging industry.  Since 2000, the “Minnies” have provided a forum for radiology professionals to acknowledge the contributions of their peers. The awards take place each year to recognize the best and brightest in medical imaging prior to the annual Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) meeting held in Chicago. The 2017 edition includes 208 candidates across 14 categories with nominations being made by AuntMinnie.com members.

“Our members possess the knowledge and expertise to serve as leaders in healthcare and it’s gratifying to see the community reinforce that.” said AHRA CEO, Edward J. Cronin, Jr. “The quality of care they provide, innovative use of technology, and best practices in medical imaging management make each of these nominees qualified for the award.”
