New Student Membership
(Sudbury, MA, October 22, 2014) – AHRA: The Association for Medical Imaging Management is proud to introduce a new discounted membership for students currently enrolled full time in a radiology or health administration BS or master’s program.
The AHRA Board of Directors, in its strategic thinking, places significant value on succession planning both within the industry and the association. Students who are the next generation of imaging leaders will be offered membership, giving them insight into future opportunities and giving AHRA the chance to showcase its value. This reduced membership fee will also allow many current members who have gone back to school full time the opportunity to remain part of the AHRA community while removing some of the financial burden. The board wants them to remain active members of the association as they work towards degrees that will aid their career progression and, in turn, the medical imaging industry.
A Membership Task Force proposed this initiative to the AHRA Board of Directors in 2013. This bylaw change was then put to a member vote at the 2014 Annual Meeting in Washington, DC where it was considered a quorum and approved. The new bylaw is below.
ARTICLE II - MEMBERSHIP
