What does 2022 look like through a public health lens?

The good news is that vaccines are proving effective at keeping vaccinated people from becoming very ill and dying. However, as variants emerge, as with Delta and now Omicron, there are still many more cases than experts had hoped for when vaccines were rolling out. Mental and emotional fatigue is a real stressor, and frontline healthcare workers are stretched to their limits in many instances. Being part of a supportive network, and a caring, helpful community of knowledgeable leaders like the AHRA is invaluable. If you want to be supported, encouraged, and bolstered, consider joining AHRA  today.

It remains essential to have fact-based, current information, and to be vigilant about what science demands of us, still: wearing masks, socially distancing, and frequent hand-washing. Read the LINK article below on COVID-19 relief efforts by the new administration.

AHRA members tell us that Connect, our online forum for imaging leaders, has been an invaluable source of knowledge sharing and support during the public health crisis. If you are not a member but would like to be, or know someone who would benefit from the shared knowledge and community here, please join us, or refer someone to us today. Finally, let's continue to wear masks, stay safe, and remain hopeful that we will see an end to the pandemic soon.
